Toata zona cuprinsa intre poalele estice ale Pietrei Craiului (pe aliniamentul Zarnesti - Prapastii - vest de satul Pestera - valea Dambovicioarei (Brusturet) - Podu Dambovitei), si poalele vestice ale Bucegilor / nordice ale Leaotei (pe aliniamentul Poarta - Simon - Moieciu de Sus - Fundatica), si incluzand in sud bazinetul Rucar, iar la nord spre Tara Barsei, micul munte Magura Mica.
